Mary Negron is a full-time painter based in beautiful Georgia. She specializes in Plein Air painting, a practice she discovered was exhilarating and now pursues across the many diverse landscapes of the state.
While she primarily works in oil, her technique is deeply rooted in her background with watercolor and Japanese inks. Mary values the community spirit of joining fellow artists at Plein Air festivals and casual painting days in local fields, farms, and towns.
Her work has been juried into numerous Plein Air events, earning a variety of honors, including People’s Choice, Quick Paint prizes, and overall show awards. In addition to many private collections, her art has been selected by designers to appear on television program sets.
