I follow the path trodden by great artists before me, those celebrated by history as well as the contemporaries I’ve been so lucky to learn from in workshops, classes and with my talented friends who join me on my adventures. Each painting I tackle, the hours I spend in front of my easel in fields and small towns capturing the beauty of a landscape or starkness of a city scape, helps me grow as an artist and a human. I challenge myself to always push forward, taking on difficult compositions or subjects that may fail but learning from those failures. The appreciation for this wonderful existence and the joy, of artist and nature, is what I hope you can feel when you view my artwork.
Love and peace, M
